Search Scope

By default, the content you selected for My Libraries, is the scope of your search.  However, you also have the option to search All Libraries, conduct an Advanced Search, or search the Browsed Libraries you have recently viewed (this will be grayed out if you have not browsed).  Note that the search field, itself, contains a definition of your selected search option.

NOTE: See Customizing Content - "My Libraries" for more information.

NOTE: By default, the thesaurus feature is turned on with Include synonyms checked. To turn off the thesaurus feature, uncheck the Include synonyms checkbox.

MediRegs displays suggestions as you type. To perform a search using one of the displayed search suggestions, select it from the list and click the search icon.

Refining Your Search

The search results screen has several features to help you understand and refine your search results.

  1. Notice the total number of documents retrieved.  The green information button provides search parameters, scope of the content searched and synonyms applied. (See Search information window image, below.)
  2. Click the item under Libraries, Agencies, Document Types, or Jurisdictions to filter your results to just those types. Click Clear all filters to return to the original results list. (See Clear all filters image, below.)
  3. Documents are automatically sorted by Most Relevant but you can also sort by Most Recent
